ICAM for Build Place: Environment Creation

Once you order an environment in an ICAM (IFS Cloud Aviation Maintenance) enabled Build Place, the environment card will display information related to the IFS Cloud Aviation Maintenance Service immediately after the Application Information. This information includes the credentials for the ICAM database.

The environment ordering in an ICAM-enabled Build Place is the same as for a usual Build Place. Refer: Working with environments in a Build Place.

Note: It is vital that you have enabled ICAM in your Build Place (purchase mxcore module in the Solution Set) at the point of the environment creation to access ICAM related settings in the Build Place Environments. E.g- If it is a delivery environment, you must have enabled ICAM in the Build Place by the time you are selecting the target commit.

If you experience any failure in environment creation related to ICAM customization deployment, you can start troubleshooting by logging into the database using the credentials listed under ICAM Service Information in the environment card. If you encounter any failure in environment creation not related to any customization deployments, the credentials in the ICAM Service Information will not be available on the environment card. Please contact the IFS Support Team to resolve such occasions.
