IFS Report Studio¶
Overview¶
IFS Report Studio is a cloud-based platform designed to create and customize operational report layouts. As introduced in IFS Cloud 24R1, it plans to advance the IFS Report Designer capabilities. This transition aims to enhance user experience and overcome the limitations of Report Designer by providing a more intuitive and flexible reporting solution.
IFS Report Studio will empower users to create and modify report layouts effortlessly as a web-based report design tool. It generates report layouts in REP format driven by JSON-based data sources. The core report processing and logic are executed on the server, while the user interface facilitates report design and interaction.

Note
The 'Print Report' option is not available for Report Studio - Designer reports and Quicksight reports within build environments. To preview a report with real data, users must either switch to a use place environment or import the designed layout into a use place instance. Use the Online Preview feature to preview a report using previously archived report data without publishing or executing the report again.
