New Machine Downtime Clocking
Explanation
Use this activity to manually register a new machine downtime clocking record
for a work center resource. Machine downtime is booked against a downtime
cause.
To register a new machine downtime clocking from:
- Shop Floor Workbench page, click
Manage Downtime and then Clockings. In the
Downtime Clockings dialog, click New
Clocking.
- Shop Floor Clockings page, click
New Clocking and then New Machine Downtime Clocking.
If the downtime is ongoing, leave
the stop time field empty.
Prerequisites
- A valid work center resource must exist.
- At least one downtime cause
must have been entered on the Downtime Causes page.
System Effects
- A new machine downtime clocking record will be created.
- If a stop time has been entered, a time result will be calculated
and a machine downtime history transaction (MCH_DOWN) will be created.
