This activity is used to connect work types (defined in IFS/Maintenance) to maintenance event types (defined in IFS/Fleet and Asset Management). This connection is necessary to be able to create complex assembly service contracts for serials in IFS/Fleet and Asset Management. This connection enables you to pick a valid work type when you distribute maintenance events to a work order.
To perform this activity, select an existing event type from the Work Types per Mx Event Type page and create a new record in the Work Types section.
Work types must have been defined. For more information, refer to the activity Create Work Type.
As a result of this activity, complex assembly service contracts can be created for the serials in Fleet and Asset Management.
