Edit Structure Component Cost Distribution

Explanation

Use this page to view and modify distribution of component material costs among produced parts and main product for the structure alternate. The costs of each material component line in a manufacturing structure can be allocated to the produced parts using the factors entered for each produced part/component combination.

The Component Cost Distribution Factor is the only field that can be updated. Each individual component cost distribution factor must be between 0% and 100%. The total component cost distribution for all produced parts for each component should not be greater than 100%. This factor is used as a means of distributing component costs between produced parts and main product.

These values are used by the cost calculations. Also, as with other structure alternate information, the factor information is copied when creating shop orders.

Prerequisites

Produced parts must have been defined for a structure.

System Effects

Component cost distribution factor is updated.
