Create Ad Hoc Operational Event
Explanation
This activity is used to create an ad hoc operational event for an already
assigned serial.
To create an ad hoc event for a specific operational plan, click the
New Ad Hoc Event option from the
Operational
Events per Vehicle page.This opens the New Ad Hoc Operational
Event assistant and there you can create an operational event,
connect that event to an operational plan and also assign personnel to the event.
- Enter general information about the operational event
in the 1st step. You can subsequently revise your entries, except for the
vehicle.
- Connect the operational event to an operational plan
in the 2nd step. This step is optional. Note: If you enter an operational
plan item number, you also need to have entered an operational plan number.
However, you can enter an operational plan without having to enter an operational
plan item.
- Assign personnel to the operational event in the last step. This step
is also optional. You can always assign personnel at a later point.
Prerequisites
- An operational plan must be created and completed.
- The serial must have been assigned to the operational plan. For more
information on how to assign a new serial to the operational event, refer
to the activity Assign Vehicles
and/or Crew.
System Effects
An event is created for the serial in the operational plan.
