Connect Process Class and Item Class

Explanation

Use this activity to add Item class to the PM program. Along with that tool/equipment, linear assets and equipment objects will be automatically added to the PM program.

Prerequisites

System Effects

As a result of this activity, Tool/Equipment, Linear Assets or Equipment Objects will be filtered accordingly. Also only work task templates belong to these item classes will be able to add to the PM program.

Procedure

  1. Open the PM Program page, create a new record or query for an existing one.
  2. Click Valid For Sites and enter the sites for which the PM Program will be valid.
  3. Click Applicable Objects and create a new record.
  4. In the Process Class ID field, enter the value. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
  5. In the Item Class ID field, enter the value. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
  6. Save the information.
