Set Manual Operation Quantity
Explanation
Use this activity to update the operation quantity of a shop order
operation. This is typically done for a rework or repair operation when the
full quantity is not expected to pass through the operation.
To update the operation quantity, enter a new value in the
Operation Qty field for the operation on tab Shop Order/Operations,
on page Shop Order Operations or in section
Shop Floor Workbench/Dispatch List.
Prerequisites
- A shop order operation with Manual Operation Qty
enabled must exist.
System Effects
- The value in the Operation Qty field of the shop order operation is
updated, and the value in the Bypass Qty field is adjusted accordingly. If
the operation quantity is decreased, the bypass quantity
is increased with the same quantity, and if the operation quantity
is increased, the bypass quantity is decreased with the same
quantity.
- The change is logged on tab Shop Order History/Journal
and replicated to the corresponding operation line on page
Operation Statistics.
- Affected shop order operations are rescheduled.
