Filter Search Pane
Filter Search Pane is employed within
components like tables, Gantt charts, etc. that manages multiple data fields.
Its purpose is to sift through raw data based on the values present in the
columns, allowing users to refine and narrow down the displayed information
according to specific criteria.

Click
on the Filter option within the components of IFS Cloud pages to open Filter
Search Pane.

The components of the Filter Search Pane are explained below:

- Click the More drop down menu to access all the
fields associated with the Filter Search Pane.

- Enter a field name in the Filter fields section
to locate the desired field.
- Click the Reset button to deselect your
selection and revert to the default checkbox field selections.
- Click the Checkbox next to a field to add it to
the Filter Search Pane.

Favorites |
- Filter for the records which are marked as favorites.

Apply |
- Apply your filters after selecting all the filter criteria by
clicking the Apply button.

Saved Filter |
- Click on the Saved Filter drop down menu to
View / Manage all the filter search configurations saved previously.

- Click on any Saved Filter Title to add those
filters to the component.
- Click on Apply Latest Filter to perform the
most recent filter search on the component.
- Search for : This section cannot be modified and it is prefilled
with all the filter criteria you selected on Filter Search Pane.
Save Filter
- Click the Save Filter option to save your
current filter configuration.


- Fill in the fields:
- Name : Fill the Name field
with a desired name for the custom filter combination.
- Notes : Add any notes /
comments regarding the filter combination in the Notes field.
- Search for : This section
cannot be modified and it is prefilled with all the filter criteria
you selected on Filter Search Pane.
- Order by : This section
cannot be modified and it is prefilled with all the data organizing
criteria.
Manage Saved Filters
- Click the Manage Saved Searches option to
modify your saved page searches.


- Fill the following:
- Saved Search : Click on the
Saved Search drop down menu to select the
Saved Search record you wish to modify.
- Name : Modify the
Name of the Saved Search.
- Notes : Modify the
Notes of the Saved Search.
- Search for : This section
cannot be modified and it is pre-filled with all the search criteria
selected on Filter Search Pane.
- Order by : This section
cannot be modified and it is pre-filled with, records order by data.
- Functionality of the buttons:
- Search: Apply the
modifications and initiate filtration.
- Delete: Delete the saved
filter.

Cancel: Cancel
the modification.

- Click on the 3 dot menu to access additional capabilities in
Search Pane.
 
Filter Settings
- Modify the Filter Search interactions by
utilizing the options in Filter Settings menu.

Run Filter
- Define how a filter should be applied to a component.
- When criteria is changed (As soon as you change a search
criteria).
- Only when search button pressed (Wait until you press the
Search button).
Startup Behavior
- Select which data to be shown in the
component when it first opened.
- Show default data.

Use filter - Show data according
to the filters defined in Filter Search Pane.

Note: Certain columns which are not visible within the components might
also be included as search criteria, even though the fields are not visible to
you you can still filter records according to it.
Filter Records Based on a Date/Time Value In a Different Timezone.
In the Filter Search Pane, Date/Time fields include a separate timezone
selection drop down menu, allowing you to select a date/time values in a
timezone other than your current working timezone.
Records added to the system could have been created with different
date/time values in various timezones. After applying this condition to Page
Search, all records created between 00:00 and 24:00 in your selected
timezone on the chosen date will be displayed.

Note: Upon selecting a date/time value different from your current
working timezone, a timezone badge will appear in the applied filter to
indicate your chosen timezone.
