Update DOP Header Due Date
Explanation
This activity is used to modify the due date of a DOP header when an alarm exists for a date mismatch between
the DOP header and the due date of its pegged customer order lines.
To perform the activity click Update DOP Header Due Date on the DOP
Alarms page, on the Alarms tab on the DOP Header
page, or on the Alarms tab on the DOP
Order page.
Prerequisites
- The DOP header must have been connected to at least one customer order line.
- An alarm must exist on the DOP header due to a date mismatch between the DOP header and the due date of its
pegged customer order lines.
System Effects
- Any existing alarms for a date mismatch between the DOP header and its pegged customer order lines will be
resolved.
- The due date of the DOP header is updated based on the due date of its pegged customer order lines.
- The due date of the top DOP order is updated to the same date as the due date of the DOP header. The start
date is also updated using backwards planning. For information on how this is done, see Set DOP Order Start Date by Backwards

- The due dates of existing supply orders pegged to the top DOP order are automatically adjusted when
specified. Otherwise, date alarms are generated for date mismatches between the DOP order and the supply
orders.
- If the site has Schedule and Create Load for DOP Order Operations enabled, machine and labor
load of source Scheduled DOP are re-created for the operations on the top order based on the
quantity remaining to supply on the DOP order, plus the planned supply scrap for that quantity. This applies if
the DOP order is for a manufactured part and has the status Unreleased or
Netted.
