Pre-Post Aviation Maintenance
Explanation
Finance users can pre-define accounting code part values on a work package or aviation task before all finance
information is finalized. Pre-posting values are used when finance transactions are created and override values
that would otherwise come from posting control alone.
The Cost Center is populated automatically from CAMO Issue To Account when the work package or
task is published. It is read-only in the Pre-Posting dialog. To change the Cost Center, update Issue To Account in
CAMO and republish. See About Cost Center for Aviation
Maintenance.
Pre-posting hierarchy:
- Work package pre-posting cascades to tasks and fault tasks that do not have their own pre-posting
values.
- Task-level pre-posting takes precedence over values cascaded from the work package.
You can enter or update other code part values that your finance consultant has enabled for pre-posting.

transactions. See Reposting Aviation Task Transactions.
