Cancel work packages

Canceling a work package quickly cancels all tasks included in the work package. You can cancel work packages any time before they are started. If you receive the project workscope from a connected operator who uses Maintenix as well, you cannot cancel the work package associated with that workscope; only the operator can cancel the work package.

  1. Go to the Work Package Details page by doing one of the following:
    • In the Barcode Search field, enter the work package barcode and press Enter.
    • On your to-do list, Fleet List tab, click the aircraft of the work package. On the Inventory Details page, Open tab > Open Work Packages tab, click the work package name or ID.
  2. On the Work Package Details page, click Cancel Work Package.

    Trouble? If you do not see the Cancel Work Package button, the work package you selected cannot be canceled because 1) the work package is currently in work, or 2) the workscope for the work package was received from a connector operator who uses Maintenix.

  3. When prompted to confirm, click Yes. The work package has the CANCEL status value. All tasks associated with the work package are canceled.
