Start the IFS Applications Installer

  1. Locate the folder containing the Installer start script (e.g. <build_home>\installer\os\windows\ or <build_home>/installer/os/linux for instance).
  2. Run the Installer start script (e.g. installer.cmd or installer.sh for instance).
Before the actual IFS Applications Installer GUI is launched, temporary installations of Java and Ant runtime are created (for some Unix platforms Java is a prerequisite rather than something setup by the installer, but Ant is always setup during this process). The process takes a couple of moments, simply wait until it's completed.

Note: Before running the Installer start script on Linux or Unix platforms, make sure the current working directory is set to the folder containing installer.sh.

Verify

After the Java and Ant installation the Installer GUI will be shown.
