In this step you choose what type of attribute you want to define. You can choose the read-only field.
Choose the type of field you want to create.
| Type of field | Description |
|---|---|
| Persistent | An editable field that is stored in the database. |
| Read-only | A read-only field that displays an existing value from somewhere else in IFS Applications. |
| Local | A read-only field that displays data that already exists in the current LU, but is not shown in the current view. |
Note: A chosen type cannot be changed once a field has been created.
