Archive Media Items Periodically

If large media items are constantly used in daily operations it helps to periodically archive them. To set up a schedule to periodically archive media items, follow the steps below:

1. Open the New Database Task Schedule window and create a new record.
2. Enter a schedule name.
3. In the Task Name field select the task Archive Media Items using the List of Values.
4. Select an appropriate day and time for the schedule to execute.
5. Enter values for the following scheduling parameters:

• LAST_ACCESS_LIMIT_DAYS – This number specifies how old the images should be before it can be archived. For instance, if you specify 1 all the images older than 1 day will be archived.
• EXECUTION_PERIOD_MAX_HOURS – This number specifies the maximum number of hours the scheduling job will be executed per day.

6. Save the record.
