In every release of IFS applications there is a need to upgrade extensions/localizations and customizations due to code being removed, changed or added. New concepts are often introduced and deprecated concepts removed, which needs to be taken care of. In some releases it is small changes in other releases it is large changes. The main point described here is that it is general technical changes that needs to be taken care of at an uplift situation. This section will not replace what is written in IFS Consulting AQS document or include any aspect of functionality changes done in different product groups. It will not cover all scenarios in all cases, as there can be more than one way to uplift a modification. It gives you hints on what you may need to do.
