IFS Enterprise Explorer is a framework for client applications based on the Microsoft .Net platform. The supported coding language is C#. IFS Enterprise Explorer is the successor to IFS Rich Web Client.
The IFS Enterprise Explorer has been developed with several goals in mind. For the developer the following two are to be noted: it is to make it possible to reuse client implementations from IFS Windows Clients using Application Forms, and it is to make it possible to create client applications with capabilities beyond what was possible to create in IFS Windows Client.
Note: Even though native IFS Enterprise Explorer features can be created in the IFS EE platform, these development routines are not yet supported and are not yet made available to IFS consulting organization nor to IFS Partners. General availability of the Features development is yet not set.
