Filter the Planning Viewer

On the toolbar, do any of the following:
  • Use the calendar widget icon to choose the date.
  • Use the zoom in or zoom out icons to display fewer or more days, respectively.
  • Enter a buffer in minutes between flight land and work package and/or work package and takeoff. For example, suppose you schedule a work package for an aircraft that is due to depart in 30 minutes. If the work package will take 32 minutes to complete, you can use a buffer of 5 or 10 minutes to prevent the Planning Viewer from flagging the flight as having a scheduling conflict. The Planning Viewer will add the buffer window to the start of the flight, so that anything falling within the window will not be flagged as a conflict.
  • Enter a value (in days) to show only those flights, tasks and work packages that occur within that specific number of days.
  • Use the Only load aircraft with assembly code list to display the aircraft in a specific assembly.
  • Use the Only load aircraft in group list to display the aircraft in a specific group.
  • Select the Load tasks with soft deadlines check box to view work packages without a driving deadline.
  • Select the check box(es) to show only aircraft with unpackaged tasks, unscheduled work packages, and/or scheduling conflicts.
The Planning Viewer then loads the aircraft according to the selected filters.
