IFS Applications uses OpenID Connect for authenticating users. In order to do this, IFS Applications interacts with an identity provider. This may need some initial configuration to be done when setting up IFS Applications. This section describes how to set up authentication for IFS Applications and contains a list of things that may need to be done for each of the supported identity providers.
If the IFS Database Identity Provider is used and no IFS Touch Apps are in use, then most likely nothing has to be done as the IFS Database Identity Provider is set up to work with no additional configuration after a fresh installation. Otherwise, you must configure authentication further as described below.
