Contents

General

The integration with IFS Business Cockpit consists of two parts:

  1. Integration with Information Sources providing:
    1. Direct use of metadata definitions from IFS Information Sources to enable faster build of extension of IFS Business Cockpit models
    2. Direct load of data from Information Sources without the need to use e.g. Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services

Note: The credentials used for accessing metadata definitions should be of a service user. The authentication is performed using the COMPATIBILITY application type.

  2. Integration with IFS Business Cockpit
    1. The IEE navigator includes Business Cockpit navigation according to the user authorization in Business Cockpit
    2. Embedded viewing in IEE without the local Business Cockpit navigator bar
    3. Integrated authentication

System Parameters

The integration is part of the base sales part for IFS Applications.

To enable the integration between IEE and Business Cockpit it is required to define values for a couple of system parameters. Please refer to the the following link >> for more information and look for parameters with the categorization Enterprise Operational Intelligence
