Custom Logical Units are created and administrated in IFS Enterprise Explorer. Steps how to add Custom Logical Units to standard IFS Aurena pages are described in this section.
Custom Logical Units are created in IFS Enterprise Explorer, how to do this is documented in IFS Administration & Configuration Guide for Enterprise Explorer. See Create Custom Logical Units. Follow the steps to create a Custom Logical Unit to use in IFS Aurena. Previously created Custom Logical Units are available to use in IFS Aurena.
During the Custom Logical Unit creation in IFS Enterprise Explorer, you have
the option to create a default Projection specific to the new Custom Logical
Unit. Once created, this Projection is not allowed to be modified. It is listed
with type Generated Projection (Custom LU) under Projection
configurations.
