Reset user passwords

Resetting a user's password sets it to the default password configured in Maintenix. You reset a user's password when the user has forgotten the password and is no longer able to log on to the system.

  1. Click the down arrow next to the Maintenix logo.
  2. Select your role, then the User Search menu item.
  3. On the User Search page, enter your search criteria.
  4. On the Users Found tab, click the name of the user.
  5. On the User Details page, click Reset Password.
  6. When prompted, click Yes to reset the password, or No to cancel.

The user's password is reset to the default password set by the administrator.
