Depending on your role, your starting point for this task can vary.

Note: Part requests for work packages show on this tab.
    • On the kit Part Request Details or kit Part Details page, click Create Kit Inventory.
Note: To see the button on the Part Request Details page, the Part Request status must be OPEN.
  2. On the Create Inventory page, provide the requested information and click OK.
Tip: You can search for part numbers, locations, owners, dates, and credit accounts by clicking Search . You can generate a serial number by clicking Generate Serial Number .
  3. On the Edit Inventory page, enter the requested information, and click:
    • Next to move to the next editing page.
    • Apply to save your changes and continue working.
    • Previous to return to the previous editing page.
    • Finish to save your changes and return to the Inventory Details page.
    • Cancel to discard your changes and return to the Inventory Details page.
On the kit Inventory Details page, the status of the kit is INCOMPLETE and the kit is listed on the Incomplete Kits tab on the Storeroom Clerk or Material Controller To Do List. The kit can now be assembled. See Assemble kits.
