Warehouse model
Airports can have none, one, or multiple warehouses for storing inventory that is ready to be issued.
In Maintenix, warehouses are represented as serviceable store locations with the location type SRVSTORE. You can model large warehouses as a hierarchy of store locations. For example, you can model floors, aisles, and shelves as locations of type STORE, and organize them in a hierarchy. Actual inventory items are held in bins, which have the BIN location type.
In larger airports with multiple warehouses (SRVSTORE), inventory received at the dock is typically put away in the main warehouse and transferred from there to other warehouse SRVSTORE locations that serve shops, hangars, and line maintenance locations.
