Ad-Hoc Reporting

While operational report development is more of a developer type of task, ad-hoc report development is something an administrator or power user can engage in. Ad-hoc reporting in IFS Applications is based on the Quick Reports concept. A Quick Report can be of multiple types, SQL, Crystal, SSRS, and so on. The Query Builder is another type of Quick Reports that is also targeting normal end users. This administration guide will focus only on the work an end-user will do to create and manage ad-hoc reporting.

For development of SQL and Crystal Quick Reports please see the Ad-hoc Report Development guide.
