Request quotes from vendors
You can create an RFQ based on an existing part request, or you can create an ad hoc RFQ. Create an ad hoc RFQ when there is no part request.
After you have prepared the RFQ, you send the RFQ to one or more vendors.

You can create a regular RFQ or an ad hoc RFQ.
Option Description To create a request for quotation On your to-do list, Open Part Requests tab, select a part request, and click Create RFQ. To create an ad hoc request for quotation On your to-do list, click Create Ad Hoc RFQ. - On the Create RFQ page, provide the requested information and click OK.
- On the RFQ Details page, Vendor Quotes tab, select a vendor, and click Print RFQ.
- Fax or e-mail the RFQ form to the vendor.
- On the RFQ Details page, click Send RFQ.
