Name Code Mandatory Description
Hangar HGR No Grouping location for heavy maintenance tracks, or all tracks that are in one building. You can create as many hangar locations as needed.
Track TRACK Yes Sub-locations of hangar locations. Track locations represent tracks where heavy maintenance work is performed. There must be one track location in Maintenix for each physical track. This is one of the location types where a work package can be executed.
Line LINE Yes Locations used for line maintenance. Organizations often create one line location per airport or per company. This is one of the location types where a work package can be executed.
Repair REPAIR No Grouping location representing repair shops at each airport or in one building. You can create as many repair locations as needed.
Local Repair Shop SHOP No An individual repair location within a repair shop. Generally, each repair shop is used for a different type of repair, such as hydraulics, avionics, electronics, or breakdown. Component work packages can be scheduled to this type of location. In an organization with multiple, specialized local shops, you can define the shop location as a triage location and schedule work packages there as the starting point. (Job cards are assigned to the child shop locations).
Bench Stock BNCHSTK No A bench stock location. Bench stock refers to inventory stored in the maintenance area, and is usually general-purpose inventory such as consumables and expendables.
