Create sub-locations

You can create sub-location of higher-level locations to organize your operations.

  1. Click the down arrow next to the Maintenix logo.
  2. Select your role, then the Location Search menu item.
  3. On the Location Search page, enter your search criteria and click Search.
    Tip: You can restrict your search to a specific type of locations, for example, search only for hangar locations, or restrict the search to all types of shop locations or maintenance locations.
  4. On the Locations Found tab, click the location name.
  5. On the Location Details page, Sub Locations tab, click Create Sub Location.
  6. On the Create Location page, provide the required information. Note the following:
    • Type: Select the type of location you are creating.
    • Organization: Enter the code of the organization for this airport, or click to search.
  7. Click OK.
  8. On the Edit Location page, provide the information requested and click OK.
