Find stored inventory that requires maintenance
You can find stored inventory that's due for maintenance on the Storage Maintenance tab. You can then package and complete a maintenance task, or create internal or external work packages, and move items to the appropriate shop.
To narrow the list, you can apply filters including location, part type, tasks unassigned to work packages, and number of days until tasks are due.
What you see in the Due Date column:
- A bold font due date indicates that the task has a hard deadline and must be completed by this date.
- A red color due date indicates that the task is overdue.
- If there are two dates and one is in brackets: The first date is the scheduled due date. The second date is the extended due date - which is calculated by adding the allowed deviation to the scheduled due.
- Go to your To-Do list Storage Maintenance tab.
- Optional: To filter the list by any of the following, click
Options above the table, choose your settings, and
click OK.
- Part Type
- Show tasks due within a specified number of days: Shows tasks due on or before the current date plus the number of days that you specify. Enter an number, not a range of days.
- Hide assigned tasks: If you select this check box, the list shows tasks that aren't in work packages.
- Location: Enter a location code. You can enter a broader code such an
airport or supply location, or a more granular code such as a serviceable
stores or bin. For example YOW or YOW/SRVSTORE, or YOW/2305-01. Note: If you enter an invalid code, then records for all locations (in departments that you belong) to are displayed.
