Delivery Deployment¶
The way to apply a service update and/or customizations is through deliveries. This process is handled in the build place Lifecycle Experience, and it is the normal approach.
The delivery is downloaded from the LE portal and placed in the deliveries folder according to the folder structure in Windows Management Server. Make sure to align to the depth of delivery path structure so the installer inside each delivery can find e.g. the ifscloud-values.yaml in the ifsroot\config folder -The installer use relative paths to find the config.
Air-gap delivery deployments need some additional steps to be performed on a server with internet access first. The deliveries and corresponding artifacts are then moved into the secure air-gapped network find the details in "Air-gap Considerations" below.
