Close financial accounts

You can close a financial account when it is no longer needed. Closed accounts do not appear in any account selection list in Maintenix so that nothing can be assigned to them.

You cannot issue orders that have order lines assigned to a closed account. You cannot commit or start work packages that are assigned to a closed account.

You cannot close an account that:

• Is a default account.
• Contains open sub-accounts.
• Is assigned to a tax or a charge.
• Is assigned to a part number.
