Stock distribution request pick list

The stock distribution request pick list is a report that shows a list of stock distribution requests, and information about the warehouse locations and the items that should be retrieved or "picked" to fulfill them.

When you generate a pick list for a stock distribution request, it contains the following information:
  • The ID and the barcode for the stock distribution request.
  • The bin from which to pick at the supply location and the inventory owner, if specified.
  • The alternate part for the stock number and the bin location, if a bin level exists.
  • The available quantity for the bin at the supply location.
  • The needed quantity for the stock distribution request. For stock distribution requests with transfers that are either pending or complete, this includes the quantity that is required minus the quantity of items that have already been picked.
  • Any notes that might specify special handling for hazardous materials.
  • The bin at the warehouse location where the stock should be transferred and the inventory owner, if specified.

When picking stock for a request, you can pick more than the requested quantity. If you pick more items than the available quantity for batch inventory, then the bin quantity will be updated.
