Define the route order for a bin

You can assign a route order number to each bin location to optimize your picking route within a serviceable store.

The route order number you define will be used to sort the issue list printed in Maintenix.
  1. On the Location Details page, Details tab, click Edit Location Details.
  2. On the Edit Location page, assign a value to the Route Order field and click OK.
When you select a work package with part requests and print the issue list, the issue list will be printed in ascending order of the defined route order. All inventory items that are assigned to locations without route orders will appear at the bottom of the issue list.
Note: You can define or modify the route order of bin locations, in bulk, by exporting the route order details to a file, updating the file with new and modified route order numbers and importing the updated file to Maintenix.
