Translation

IFS Application can be translated into several different languages. To translate the application, follow the steps below.

1. Scan the translatable code
2. Translate text
3. Translate Field Descriptions
4. Export translation files (trs) and export language files (lng)
5. Import the language and translation files (to the database)  or make a delivery and deploy it with IFS Installer.

Note! Within IFS R&D, the translation is done by a translation agency, so steps 2 and 3 are not performed by IFS R&D. Also IFS R&D projects are using a central scanning environment so manual scanning (step 1) of the code is not needed.
