Assign part request for picking
If local inventory is reserved for a part request. you can use your mobile device to assign yourself to pick for the part request.
- The part request must be in the AVAIL status.
The reserved inventory must be in a location assigned your department.
The part request must be unassigned for picking.
- Go to the Unassigned tab of the Pick Inventory page.
- Optional: To filter the part requests, click
, provide information for one or more of the following fields and click OK:
- AOG: Select to show the part requests with AOG Priority.
- Hazmat: Select to show the part requests for hazardous materials.
- Ad hoc requests: Select to show ad-hoc part requests.
- Destination: To view all part requests with inventory needed in a particular location, enter the location.
- Work Package: To view part requests belonging to a work package, enter the work package barcode.
- Needed after: Select the date to show part requests where the needed by date is after the entered date. If you do not enter a date, the needed after date will be set as 24 hours after the current date.
- Needed before: Select the
date to show part requests where the needed by date is before the entered
date. If you do not enter a date, the needed before date will be set 24
hours before the current date.Note: Your filter choices are retained until you change them.
- Swipe right to assign the part request.
Tip: The Unassigned tab displays 50 cards at a time, To view more or new unassigned part requests, refresh the Unassigned tab. You may unassign yourself from
a previously assigned part request by swiping left on the part request in the Pick
List tab. Once unassigned, the part request moves to the Unassigned tab. The pick
status of the part request is Unassigned and your username is no longer displayed in
the Picked By field.
