Create shipments

Before you can ship parts, you must create a shipment in Maintenix. You might do this as part of another task, such as creating a repair order, or managing part requests. To ship more than one item in a shipment, you can add items as additional shipment lines.

  1. Find a part by doing one of the following:
    • On the Part Search page, enter your search criteria, and click Search.
    • On your to-do list, on any tab that lists parts, in the Part No column, click the link.
  2. On the Part Details page, click Create Shipment.
  3. On the Create Shipment page, provide the requested information and click OK.
  4. On the Shipment Details page, Shipment Lines tab, click Add Part Shipment Line.
  5. On the Add Shipment Line page, provide the requested information and click OK.
