Transfer inventory

To move inventory within a supply location, for example an airport, you transfer the inventory.

A transfer can include only one inventory item.

When you manually transfer inventory, the following restrictions apply:
  • If an issue transfer is created but not completed, you cannot create a stock transfer.
  • If inventory is currently in an in-transit shipment, you cannot transfer it without first completing the shipment. This scenario can happen if inventory is physically received but the receipt isn't recorded yet in Maintenix.

New transfers are in pending status, and can be canceled or completed.

  1. On the Inventory Details page, click Create Transfer.
  2. On the Create Transfer page, click Select Local Location .
  3. In the Select Local Location dialog box, click a location.
  4. On the Create Transfer page, click OK.
  5. On the Transfer Details page, click Complete Transfer.
  6. Click Print Transfer Ticket.
