What LPA schedules
LPA does not schedule or modify the following work packages that exist for an aircraft:
Heavy maintenance work packages
Line maintenance work packages that are neither service work packages or turn work packages
Any work package that you exclude from LPA, including turn and service work packages
LPA does not schedule any turn and service work packages in ground stops that already have a scheduled work package that is a heavy maintenance work package, a work package created by LRP, or a work package that is committed or in work.
LPA does not unassign or attempt to reschedule any turn and service checks that meet any of the following conditions:
The check is in a work package that is excluded from LPA. If any excluded work package that includes a turn or service check is in conflict with the latest flight schedule, or with the turn and service work packages that LPA is trying to schedule, this is recorded in the issues list generated by LPA. You must resolve these scheduling conflicts manually.
The check is included in a heavy maintenance work package.
The check is included in a work package created by the Long Range Planner (LRP).
The check is in a work package that is committed or in work.
