Purchase orders

You can create purchase orders to procure parts and services from vendors when a part request for a part requirement on a task cannot be fulfilled with local inventory.

Purchase orders can be promoted from purchase requests, or stock requests for stock low situations, but you can also create an ad hoc purchase order for parts and services at any time.

For the auto-create PO and auto-issue PO features to function correctly, the ordered part must be associated with a purchase vendor and have a vendor price. You can review this information on the Vendor Details/Parts/Purchase and the Part Details/Vendors/Purchase pages.
