Create warranty contracts

You can create warranty contracts to serve as templates that define the details, terms and conditions of an actual warranty and are applicable on parts, labor and routine tasks.

You can create assembly, component, and task warranty contracts:

• An assembly warranty contract is defined by its relationship to a specific aircraft, engine, or APU.
• A component warranty contract is defined by its relationship to a specific purchased component.
• A task warranty contract is defined by its relationship to a specific maintenance task.

When creating a warranty contract, you must enter different information based on the warranty contract type.

1. On the Warranty Contract Search page, click Create Assembly Warranty Contract, Create Component Warranty Contract, or Create Task Warranty Contract.
2. On the page selected in Step 1, provide the requested information and click OK.
