Initialize warranty contracts manually

You can define the start date and terms and conditions for warranty coverage specific to an inventory item or actual task, to manually initialize a warranty contract.

You must initialize warranty contracts on specific inventory before warranties can be evaluated.

Warranties cannot be initialized for batch inventory.

Warranty contracts must be activated before they can be initialized.

1. On the Warranty Contract Details page, click Initialize Warranty Contract.
2. On the Initialize Warranty Contract page, provide the requested information and click OK.
