Deactivate warranty contracts

You can manually deactivate warranty contracts that have expired. Deactivated warranty contracts cannot be edited or reactivated.

Deactivated warranty contracts have a status of historical, and cannot be initialized against inventory or tasks. Deactivating a warranty contract has no effect on warranties that have already been initialized.
