Security Grants and Entity Filters

The mobile apps Security and Filters is the document for setting up relevant security and filters for mobile apps. This is for instance used in the synchronization rules. The Permission Set  is a user defined restriction of entity access and the Filters granted to Security Group Grants is a way to achieve data row security.

First you need to set up what Permission Sets that should be used for a Security Group. This is done in Security Grants by Permission Set.

If you have a lot of data, you want to restrict the data, using Entity Filters. You need to add the entity filters first and then you can add them to a Security Grant. This is done in  Security Grant Filters by Entity Filter.

In App Details, you can see Entity Filters, Filters by Entity, Security Grants and the Security Grant Filters for a specific mobile app.
