Grant Permissions to Override an Aircraft Release Hard StopΒΆ

To allow a user role to override a hard stop preventing aircraft release due to missing mandatory components, overdue tasks, and overdue faults, an administrator must create a permission set that includes the MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP permission set and assign it to users.

To create a permission set with the MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP permission set:

  1. Log in to the IFS Cloud as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Solution Manager/Users and Permissions/Permission Sets/Permission Set.
  3. Click New (+ icon).
  4. For Permission Set, enter the permission set name and enter a Description.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Show more and click Grant Structure.
  7. Under Granted Permission Sets, click Add, select MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP and click OK.

Note: You can also grant the MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP permission set to individual users from the Solution Manager/Users and Permissions/Users/User page.
