Create ad hoc part requests

In most cases, Maintenix automatically creates part requests for tasks with part requirements. If Maintenix does not automatically create a part request, you can create an ad hoc part request.

  1. On your to-do list, click Create Ad Hoc Part Request.
  2. On the Select Requested Part page, enter your search criteria, and click Search.
  3. From the search results, select a part and click Assign Selected Part.
  4. On the Create Part Request page, provide the requested information and click OK.
    On the Part Request Details page, you can check the status of the part request. A request status of sent means the request has been sent to the appropriate supply chain. A status of acknowledged means the supply chain has received the request and is processing it.
