Link to historical turn-in
To avoid creating a new expected turn-in for a removed and turned in part, you might need to link to a completed turn-in when you issue inventory with the same (or alternate) part number as a part that was recently removed from the same configuration slot and turned in to the warehouse.
When this situation occurs, Maintenix prompts you with a message and displays the Unexpected Turn In page.
-
On the Unexpected Turn Ins page,
review the list of historical transfers and do one of the following:
- If a historical turn-in is the corresponding removal for the part you are issuing, select it's radio button.
- If no historical turn-ins match the part number and configuration slot for the task you are issuing inventory to, then select the Create expected turn in radio button.
