System and Service UsersΒΆ

For some IFS Cloud system and service users, there is a corresponding Maintenix user that is created during installation with the following roles and permissions:

User IFS Cloud Maintenix Purpose
IFSADMIN User Type: System

Role: FND_ADMIN

User Type: System

Role: ADMIN
ADMIN role has permissions to manage users
In a fresh installation, IFSADMIN is the first user to log in to IFS Cloud. IFSADMIN user can log in to the containerized environment through Keycloak and access both the IFS Cloud Web and Maintenix UI.
IFSCONNECT User Type: Service

Role: FND_CONNECT

User permissions:
FNDSCH_WEBSERVICE
FND_CONNECT
RND_RUNTIME
FND_WEBRUNTIME
User Type: Service

Role: IFSCNCT

IFSCNCT role permissions:
API_RECORD_TRANSFER_EXPORT API_RECORD_TRANSFER_IMPORT

Required to use Maintenix with components:
Forward/Line Mobility
Disconnected Operations
Allowable Configuration
Used for communication between Maintenix and other IFS components.
MAINTENIX User Type: Service
n/a Executes business logic between co-deployed Maintenix and IFSApp databases. This user must correspond to the maintenix.username value provided during installation of the Maintenix database schema. If you created the Maintenix database schema with a different maintenix.username than 'maintenix', you must create a corresponding service user in IFSApp.
