Project Delivery (PDMPRO)¶
The component PDMPRO has been obsoleted in IFS Cloud and customers are recommended to use the Project Deliverables solution (PRJDEL). The tables in PDMPRO have been archived with prefix ''Pd_''. Note that there are no upgrade script available between the two solutions.
Followings are the list of names of the archived tables against the original name of the obsoleted tables in PDMPRO component.

Maintenance of the archived tables¶
From 26R2, the archived Pd_ tables are no longer part of the deployable model. Their
definitions have been removed from the PROJ component, so the tables are no longer
validated or maintained during deployment. Existing data is unaffected — where the
archived tables have already been created they remain in the database together with
their contents, and nothing is dropped.
The definitions were removed because the archived tables were originally created, in
21R2, by copying the structure of the corresponding PDMPRO table wherever that table
already existed. On databases whose upgrade path skipped one or more IFS Applications
releases, the source tables did not carry all the columns introduced in those releases,
so the archived copies were created without them. From 25R2, where the archived tables
are held as _RTB tables with editioning views over them, this mismatch caused view
creation to fail with ORA-00904: invalid identifier during deployment. The same
correction has been delivered in 25R2 SU6 and 26R1 GA.
On new installations from 26R2 onwards the archived tables are not created. Note that upgrades from IFS Applications continue to create them, because they are created by the PROJ upgrade script for 21.2 rather than by the component model. On such an upgrade the tables are created, populated from the corresponding PDMPRO tables where those exist, and then left unmaintained.
The archived tables are not reachable through any view, API, projection or client page, and their structure will not be corrected or extended by future upgrades. If the archived PDMPRO data is still required, extract it using direct SQL and retain it outside the application. These tables may be removed from the database in a future release.
