Generate long range planning content

  • To run LRP reports, JasperReports server must be installed and configured in your Maintenix environment.

You can generate and extract long range planning content from LRP in the following ways:

  • Run one of the following reports:
    • Parts Forecast Report: A list of parts and part numbers and when they will be needed.
    • Schedule Report: A list of workscope items along with scheduled start and end dates, and locations where they will be completed.
    • Silt Report: The fleet availability based on the workscope of the long range plan.
  • Export a long range plan in XML format for use in other applications.
  • Print various views of the Gantt chart, for offline reference and viewing.
  1. In LRP, click Reports, and select the report you want to run. Maintenix opens in a browser window. If prompted, enter your Maintenix user name and password, and click Sign In.
  2. On the Input Controls window, provide the requested information, and click OK.
You can export your plan in XML format, which you can then open, review, and modify in other applications, such as Microsoft Excel.
  3. In LRP, click File > Export.
  4. In the Export Long Range Plan dialog box, review the list of aircraft included in the export.
    • From the Included Aircraft list, click the right arrow next to the aircraft you want excluded from the export.
    • From the Excluded Aircraft list, click the left arrow next to the aircraft you want included in the export.

  8. Enter the file name, or browse to select a folder on your computer.
  9. Click OK.
  10. In the Export Long Range Plan confirmation dialog box, click OK.

    • Use the zoom functionality to display a specific date range.
  13. On the LRP tool bar, click Print, select the printer to use, and click OK.
