- LRP permissions settings are configured for your user
role.
- The Launch Long Range Planner button is on your to-do

Contact your Maintenix Administrator for assistance with these prerequisites if they have not already
been configured for you.
Long Range Planner (LRP) is an optional component that you launch
from within Maintenix.
- On your to-do list, click Launch Long Range Planner. If
you are using Chrome or Firefox, and a download notification appears in your
browser, click Keep.
- If you see a dialog box asking you whether you
want to run the application, click Run. This dialog box lists IFS as the publisher of
the application.
- In the Login dialog box, provide the
following information:
- The name of the server hosting Maintenix and the port number.
- Your user name and password.
- Click Login. The Long Range Planner
application opens.
LRP has default settings for its Gantt
charts to help you identify an ad hoc work package, an overrun bucket, or an
extended deadline, among other events. You can tailor how work package-based and
requirement-based events are displayed in the Gantt by adjusting these settings.
- In LRP, click Setup > Gantt Configuration.
- In the Gantt Configuration dialog
box, select a color to represent each condition listed when viewing the work
package.
- Click OK.
